Voiding & Refunding Gravity Payments

Voiding Transactions

Transactions that are in a “pending” status (up to 20 minutes after the transaction was initiated) can be voided by clicking the 3-dot menu next to the Payment line on the Ledger followed by Void. Once the transaction is voided, it will display on the Ledger with a strikethrough the payment and the owner’s card will not be charged.

Refunding Transactions

Once the gravity transaction is in a “settled” status (approximately 20 minutes after the transaction was initiated), it can be refunded by clicking the 3-dot menu next to the Payment line on the Ledger followed by Refund. Refunding the transaction applies a refund to the owner’s original method of payment. This is displayed on the Ledger as a new line item with a refund transaction and will show on your Gravity dashboard as refunded.

If a transaction has had a Payment unapplied into the Account Credit, the option to Void or Refund will be disabled.
