Sharing IDEXX Laboratory Results

How to share IDEXX results.

IDEXX lab reports can easily be shared with your referring veterinarians and clients!

Shareville

To share IDEXX lab reports with referring veterinarians via Shareville, simply toggle rVet Sharing on when viewing the results through the side panel or by using the 3-dot menu next to the chart document to select Toggle rVet Sharing.

Shared IDEXX lab reports will appear just like any other shared chart in Shareville, displaying the chart name, veterinarian who created the chart, the chart document type, and a timestamp of when results were received.

Comm Log

To share IDEXX lab reports with referring veterinarians or clients via the Comm Log, simply click on Attachments after typing your message. This will open the Attachment module where you can select the IDEXX lab results along with other chart documents. Make sure to click on Select Attachments when done.


Printing

To print the IDEXX lab results to hand to clients, simply click on the printer icon at the bottom of the side panel or select print from the 3-dot menu next to the IDEXX chart document.

Both options will open a PDF print preview showing a standard Instinct cover page before the lab results providing the name of the lab work performed, the species of the patient, and the sampled at time.

To print IDEXX lab results in bulk, click on the printer icon in the upper right hand corner of the Chart screen. This will open a Print Record module where you can select the IDEXX lab results, along with other chart documents, to print.

Once selections are made, click on the Start Printing button in the upper right hand corner of the module, which will create a PDF print preview.


Editing Lab Integration Chart Document Names

Chart Document Names can be edited by clicking on the Chart document to open up the document on the right – side of the screen. Hover over and click on the Chart document name to start editing.

When done with editing, click on the orange checkmark to save.
