How to copy vitals
The Copy button on the Vitals screen lets you copy vitals in four formats, each available as a list or a table:
Intake Vitals: the patient's first recorded weight, temperature, pulse, and respiratory rate (TPR).
SOAP Vitals: the five most recent entries for weight, TPR, and ins/outs.
Latest Vitals: the most recently recorded vitals.
All Vitals: all vitals recorded for this visit.
To copy vitals from the Vitals screen, click Copy located in the upper right corner of the Vitals screen, then select the format and layout (List or Table) you want.
Tip: You can also copy vitals directly from the Status Board without opening the Vitals Board. Click the 3-dot menu to the left of the patient's name and select Copy Vitals.
How to insert vitals into a chart document using Snippets (EMR only)
Vitals Snippets let you insert a patient's vitals from their current treatment sheet directly into a chart document text field.
Open a chart document and click into a text field.
Click the notepad icon to open the Snippets menu, or type {{ to trigger it directly.
Select the Vitals Snapshot you want to insert.
The following snapshot types are available:
Vitals Snapshot – Intake: Intake weight, TPR, and ins/outs for the current visit.
Vitals Snapshot – SOAP: The five most recent entries for weight, TPR, and ins/outs.
Vitals Snapshot – Latest: The most recently recorded weight, TPR, and ins/outs.
Vitals Snapshot – All: All weight, TPR, and ins/outs for the current visit.
Additional snapshots let you insert the latest or all vitals from a specific treatment sheet category, including Basic Observations, Infusions, Monitoring, Patient Care, Medications, Diagnostics, Procedures, and Misc.
