You will schedule and complete Zoetis treatments just like any other treatment in Instinct. Zoetis-specific treatments (that have been mapped) will display a 🧪 on both the Order tab and line item on the TX screen, as shown below. While the diagnostic icon will not display if ordered as a One-Off, you can still use One-Off to initiate Zoetis requests.
Once the Zoetis treatment is marked as complete, the Complete button will change to View Results.
Clicking View Results will open the chart document. If this is a reference lab order, clicking on View Form will allow you to view, download, or print the requisition PDF.
💡Note: While Zoetis products can be added directly to an Estimate or Invoice, doing so does not create or complete a treatment and therefore, does not initiate a request.
📊 Chart Status Progression
Pending ➡️ +/- Partial ➡️To Review ➡️To Share ➡️Complete
When Zoetis treatments are completed, a corresponding Chart document is automatically created with a Pending status.
As results become available, the status will update to Partial and/or To Review.
Once the results have been reviewed, the status can be manually changed To Share to indicate sharing with the client or rDVM.
Once the results have been reviewed and shared, the chart status can be manually updated to Complete.
