In any text box in Instinct emojis can be used by simply using the following shortcuts:
PCs with Windows 10 or greater
Windows key + semicolon or windows key + period depending on your device.
Macs
Control + command + spacebar.
Emoji Doctor
Identify patients not yet assigned to a doctor more easily.
Emoji Wards
Get creative with patient locations that aren’t a typical ward example getting a bath.
Belongings or Notes
Since the Belongings or Notes section is not a part of the medical record, emojis can be used here too. A money emoji could help communicate that a new deposit needs to be collected.
Code Status
You can also add emojis into the Code Status abbreviation so that it shows up when the TX View is toggled on.
