Referrer Details Report

Referrer details by hospital and referring veterinarian.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

The Referrer Details Report provides details for those referring hospitals and referring veterinarians who have had patients in your hospital during the reporting period. When run monthly this report is great for tracking the number of referrals to your hospital by referring clinics and referring veterinarians.

This report will show patients who have a referring hospital associated to them and are either currently checked in or had a check-in date during the reporting period. For example, if the reporting period is the month of August, you may see patients on the report with a July date; this indicates that the patient is/was still checked-in during the month of August. For patients that are currently checked in during the reporting period, the Status, Ward, Service, and Provider will reflect the current selections for the patient at the time the report was run. For those patients that had a checked-in date during the reporting period, but are now checked-out, the Status, Ward, Service, and Provider will reflect the selections for the patient at the time of check-out.

If a patient has multiple visits within the reporting time frame, each visit will be displayed in a separate row. For example, if the patient was seen 2 times during the reporting period, you can expect to see that patient listed twice. You may also see multiple rows for a patient’s visit if more than one rHosp is assigned to the patient. In the above example, if that patient that was seen twice during the reporting period has two rHosp assigned to them, you can expect to see that patient listed 4 times (2 visits and 2 rHosp).

When a patient has a specific referring doctor assigned to them, this rVet will display in the Referring Doctors column. If this column is blank, no specific rVet is assigned to that patient. Another important item to note with this report is that the Amount column is only the sum of the current invoice line items and does not include taxes or discounts.
