Scheduling a treatment
You can schedule and complete laboratory treatments like any other treatment in Instinct. Point-of-care specific treatments display a diagnostics icon on both the Order tab and line item on the TX screen as shown below:
🚨 Test Tube Icon not displaying when ordering in the Treatment Order form? If the Test Tube Icon is not appearing next to the Heska product name in the Treatment Order form, the product has not been mapped to the Heska Integration. Please reach out to [email protected] to have the product mapped! Don’t forget to include the product PIMS ID and Product Label.
Clicking View Results for each completed laboratory treatment opens the corresponding laboratory results chart document on the right side.
Laboratory Treatments – Chart Screen
When a laboratory treatment is completed, a new Diagnostic Chart document is automatically created for the current visit.
The status of the Chart document will either say Pending if results are not yet completed, or Complete if results are returned (visible in real time).
