How to Schedule and Complete Antech Treatments

Learn how to schedule and complete Antech treatments.

Written by Meridythe Lanoue

Antech treatments are scheduled and completed just like any other treatment in Instinct.

  • Mapped Antech treatments display a diagnostic (beaker) icon on both the Order tab and the line item on the TX screen.

  • If an Antech treatment is ordered as a One-Off, the diagnostic icon will not appear, but you can still use One-Off to initiate Antech requests.

Note: While Antech treatments can be added directly to an Estimate or Invoice, this does not create or complete the treatment and therefore does not initiate a diagnostic request.

Chart Status Progression

Status Flow:
Request Pending ➡️ To Submit ➡️ Request Pending ➡️ Requested (Req Form) ➡️ Partial / Complete ➡️ Complete

  1. When an Antech treatment is completed, Instinct automatically creates a Chart document with a Request Pending status. This indicates that Instinct is validating the request with Antech.

  2. The status then updates to To Submit, allowing you to add any additional information before generating the requisition form.

    • Required (*) and optional fields will be available based on the category of the test.

  3. Click Submit in the bottom-right corner when done.

  4. The status will return to Request Pending while Antech generates the form.

  5. Once the PDF requisition is received from Antech, the View Form button appears, allowing you to view or print the requisition.

  6. As results are returned, the status updates to Partial and/or To Review, indicating that results are available for review.
