How to Add a New Task

Follow these steps to add new Task:

  1. Open the Task List from the left navigation panel.

  2. Click Add New Task.

  3. Enter the following details:

    • Task Name (required)

    • Details (optional)

    • Assignee (staff member responsible)

    • Link to a Patient (optional)

    • Due Date

Once a Patient is linked, clicking anywhere on the patient’s name will take you to the Patient’s Chart.


Task sorting and color indicators

Tasks in the To Do List are automatically sorted by Due Date:

  • Red text – Overdue tasks

  • Orange text – Tasks due today

  • Green text – Tasks due tomorrow

  • Gray text – Tasks due in the future

Note: If your Task List is ‘pinned’ and you navigate to a new screen while in the middle of adding a new task, any details entered will be not be saved and you will have to re-enter this information.
