Set Up the Vet Rocket Integration

Instinct EMR integrates with Vet Rocket, allowing your practice to order and view diagnostic images and teleradiology reports directly from Instinct. This article covers how an admin sets up Vet Rocket credentials for the first time.

Before you begin

  • You must have the admin_integrations permission enabled on your role to access the Integrations section in Admin.

  • Contact Vet Rocket Support to obtain your practice's Username, Password, and API URL before starting setup. The API URL is unique to your practice and is provided during onboarding.

  • Multi-location is supported—each location can have its own credentials.

Add Vet Rocket credentials in Instinct Admin

  1. Go to Admin → Practice → Integrations.

  2. Find Vet Rocket in the list of integrations and click Add Credentials.

  3. In the modal that opens, enter your Username and Password.

  4. Click Advanced to expand the field, then enter your API URL.

  5. Click Save.

  6. Click Activate to enable the integration.

Note: If you do not see the admin_integrations permission in your role, ask your Instinct admin to add it under Admin → Roles → [Your Role] → Permissions.

Frequently asked questions

What is the API URL and where do I get it?

The API URL is unique to your practice and is provided by Vet Rocket during onboarding. If you don't have it, contact Vet Rocket Support directly.

Does Vet Rocket support multi-location practices?

Yes. Multi-location is supported within both Instinct and Vet Rocket. Each location may have separate credentials.
