View Vet Rocket Imaging Results and Reports

In Instinct EMR, Vet Rocket imaging results and teleradiology reports appear directly in the patient's chart as soon as they are available. When results are ready, the chart document status updates from Pending to To Review.

View imaging results

There are two ways to access imaging results:

  • From Order History: Click the View Results button next to the completed treatment. This opens the order form in the chart document panel.

  • From the Chart: Click any chart document with a status of To Review. Then click the blue icon to the right of Imaging under Attachments—this opens a new window with the imaging results.

Tip: If imaging results from Vet Rocket are not appearing yet, click the Refresh icon to the right of the Attachments header. This pulls the latest available results from Vet Rocket in real time.

View teleradiology reports

Reports appear in the patient's chart below the imaging results, providing a more complete view of the patient assessment.

  1. Open the chart document for the imaging study.

  2. Scroll below the imaging results to the Reports section.

  3. Click the blue icon next to the report to open a PDF version.

Find a study's Study ID

Each Vet Rocket chart document in Instinct displays a Study ID. This identifier is selectable and easy to copy. Use it when logging cases, contacting Vet Rocket Support, or troubleshooting with Instinct's support team.

Frequently asked questions

The chart document still shows Pending. What should I do?

Imaging results may still be processing. Try clicking the Refresh icon next to the Attachments header to pull the latest results in real time.

Can I void a report within the chart document?

Yes. You can void the report attachment within Instinct, but this only removes the attachment from Instinct—it does not cancel the report in Vet Rocket. To cancel the report, log in directly to your Vet Rocket portal.
