Where to find upcoming appointments
The Appointments section appears below the Patient section of the Patient Info Bar for both checked-in and checked-out patients.
Up to 3 upcoming appointments or drop-offs display chronologically by date and time. Drop-offs always appear at the start of their scheduled day, before any same-day appointments.
If no upcoming appointments or drop-offs are scheduled, the section will show No Upcoming Appointments.
What each appointment entry shows
Each appointment or drop-off in the list displays:
Date and time (drop-offs show "Drop-off" in place of a time)
Provider
Appointment Type
A three-dot menu (⋮) to edit the appointment or view it in the calendar
View appointment details with the tooltip
Hover over the Appointments header to see a tooltip with details for all upcoming appointments. Each tooltip entry includes the practice name, date and time range, duration, provider, appointment type, visit reason, and any appointment notes.
Hovering over an individual appointment entry in the list also displays a tooltip for that specific appointment.
Edit an appointment from the Patient Info Bar
Select the three-dot menu (⋮) next to the appointment you want to update.
Select Edit to open the appointment for editing, or View in Calendar to navigate to that appointment on the calendar.
Warning: If you begin editing one appointment and then select Edit on a different appointment before saving, a warning will appear: "You will lose all unsaved changes. Are you sure you want to replace this form content?" Select Confirm to switch appointments or Cancel to return and save your changes first. |
Frequently asked questions
Do canceled or no-show appointments appear in the Patient Info Bar?
No. Canceled and no-show appointments do not display in the Appointments section of the Patient Info Bar.
Do past appointments appear in the Patient Info Bar?
No. Only upcoming appointments and drop-offs are shown in this section.
How many upcoming appointments will be displayed?
Up to 3 upcoming appointments or drop-offs display in the list. Hover over the Appointments header to see a tooltip with details for all upcoming appointments beyond the first 3.
