In Instinct EMR, each Radiometer test is listed as an individual service on the Radiometer integration page. A service must be enabled before an Instinct product can be mapped to it. This article covers how to enable Radiometer services and map Instinct products to them, ensuring Radiometer orders are generated correctly and results return to Instinct EMR.
Before you begin
The Radiometer integration must already be activated. See Set Up the Radiometer Integration.
You must have the admin_integrations permission assigned to your role to manage services. An administrator can add this permission in Admin → Practice → Staff → Manage → Manage User Roles.
Find a service to enable
Navigate to Admin → Practice → Integrations and select Manage Services for Radiometer.
Click the Services tab.
Select the Disabled filter to view services that are not yet enabled.
Use the search bar to search by service name or ID to find the specific test you want to enable.
Enable the service
Locate the service you want your practice to use.
Toggle the Disabled toggle to Enabled.
Enabling a service moves it from the Disabled tab to the Enabled tab, where it becomes available for product mapping.
Note: Only enable the services for tests your practice will use. If a test you need doesn't appear under Disabled, contact Instinct Support via the in-app chat or email [email protected]. |
Map an Instinct product to an enabled service
In Manage Services for the Radiometer integration, open the Enabled services tab.
Click + Add on the service to open the Add Product Mapping window.
Search for and select the Instinct product to map to the service.
Upon selection, the product is added to the Mapped Products list under the enabled service.
Once a mapped product is completed on the Treatment Sheet, in Ax Mode, or via One-Off, Instinct EMR automatically creates a Radiometer Chart document. The document updates when results are available.
Note: Adding a mapped Radiometer product directly to an estimate or invoice does not create or complete a treatment, and does not initiate a lab request. |
Map multiple services to a single product
To have one Instinct product trigger more than one Radiometer test, repeat the mapping steps above for each service, selecting the same Instinct product each time.
Note: Integration products from different integration sources cannot be mapped together on a single Instinct product. Create a separate Instinct product for each integration source. |
Unmap a Radiometer product
Open Manage Services for the Radiometer integration.
Click the ✕ to the right of the product you want to remove.

Why can't I map a product to a Radiometer test?

Do I need to enable every Radiometer service?
No. Only enable the services for tests your practice actually runs.
Can I map the same Radiometer test to more than one Instinct product?
