In Instinct EMR, each Zoetis lab test is listed as an individual service under its integration page. This applies to both the Zoetis Reference Lab and Zoetis POC integrations. A service must be enabled before an Instinct product can be mapped to it. This article covers how to find and enable a Zoetis service for either integration.
Before you begin
The Zoetis integration you're enabling services for must already be activated. See Zoetis Reference Lab Integration: Setup and Configuration or Zoetis Point-of-Care Integration: Setup and Configuration.
You must have the admin_integrations permission assigned to your role. An administrator can add this permission in Admin → Staff → Manage Roles.
Find a service to enable
Navigate to Admin → Practice → Integrations and select Manage Services for Zoetis Reference Lab or Zoetis POC, depending on which integration you're enabling services for.
Click the Services tab.
Select the Disabled filter to view services that are not yet enabled.
Use the search bar to search by service name or ID to find the specific test you want to enable.
Enable the service
Locate the service you want your practice to use.
Toggle the Disabled toggle to Enabled.
Enabling a service moves it from the Disabled tab to the Enabled tab, where it becomes available for product mapping.
Note: Only enable the services for tests your practice will use. If a test you need doesn't appear under Disabled, contact Instinct Support via the in-app chat or email [email protected]. |
What's next: map a product to the service

Why can't I map a product to a Zoetis test?
The service must be enabled first. Navigate to the Disabled services tab for the integration, find the test, and toggle it to Enabled before mapping a product.

Yes. Each integration has its own Services tab, and you must enable the services you need under each integration separately.
