Dashboards are a powerful and innovative tool designed to give you a comprehensive, clear, and intuitive view of your practice data.

Permissions

To enable additional roles/users to see the dashboards, update their permissions to include the new analytics_dashboards you’d like them to have access to. Like our existing analytics permissions, a new permission exists per dashboard.

When you click the Analytics navigation in the left-hand side panel, you’ll now have two sections that appear under Analytics: Reports and Dashboards. Reports are all the existing in-app reports you’re used to, and the Dashboards are new ways for you to visualize your practice data.

Click into the Dashboard section to see the list of dashboards available.

Click the desired dashboard to open it within Instinct.

⚡️ProTip: Click the ‘< All Dashboards’ button or the ‘Dashboard’ Tab to navigate back to the available list of Dashboards.

How to Run a Report

Once a dashboard is selected, use the filters at the top to customize the data. Filters may include timeframes, specific providers, services, or other variables depending on the dashboard.

🚨Note: Filters are case-sensitive, so ensure you match text exactly. If no data appears, check your filter criteria or timeframe.

Once data populates, hover over any visualization to see full details, including text, counts, and percentages for the represented data.

To export data, hover over the top-right corner of any visualization or table to display a 3-dot menu allowing you to download the results.

You can download visuals as PNG, CSV, XLSX, or JSON files. Tables can be downloaded in CSV, XLSX, or JSON formats.

In addition to the previously mentioned options, you can also export the entirety of the current tab’s contents into a PDF file. This functionality allows for convenient sharing and printing of the data in a widely compatible format.

🗝️ Key Tips

  • Dashboards are not in real-time; data refreshes approximately every 24 hours.

  • Use the date and time selectors to narrow down data to specific periods.

  • Date range and times selected in Analytic dashboards are always in your local time.

  • Results may take up to 15 seconds to load. For excessive delays, report issues using chat support or email [email protected].
