Top Referring Practices Dashboard

Review which other practices are referring patients to your practice for better referrer relationship management.

Updated over a month ago

The Top Referring Practices Dashboard is designed to help you understand which practices are sending the most patients to your hospital, as well as identify practices with very few or declining referrals. This dashboard makes it easier to track the strength of your referral network and spot opportunities for relationship-building or outreach.

To ensure accurate data, it’s important to understand how referring hospitals (rHosps) are included in the dashboard. An rHosp must be linked to at least one patient with a recorded “check in at” time within the selected date range to appear in the results. rHosps are tied to patients, not individual visits, which means referral credit is based on the patient’s association rather than each time they are seen. If a patient has multiple rHosps associated at the time of a visit, that patient will count toward all of those rHosps. However, if an rHosp association is later removed from a patient, that patient will no longer be counted for that rHosp on the dashboard, regardless of the time period.

Questions the Dashboard Can Answer:

  • How many patients is each referring practice currently associated with?

  • Which practices are the top referrers, and which have very few referrals?

  • What is the address, email, and phone number of each referring practice?
