Easily document how a patient was referred to your hospital, including the practice name and veterinarian.

🔒 Admin Permissions

Users will need to have the business_office_manage_referrers permission added to a role in order to edit an existing rHosp’s contact details or add a new rHosp to your Instinct database.

Users without the business_office_manage_referrers permission are still able to search and add an rHosp to the patient’s account, but will not be able to edit an existing rHosp’s contact details or add a new rHosp to your Instinct database.

🔨 Adding or Maintaining a Referrer

In the Business Office, click on the Referrers tab where you can search for, update, or merge rHosps and rVets.

Clicking on the rHosps name allows you to update any information, including adding rVets to the practice.

To create a new referrer, click the “+ New rHosp” button towards the top left of the screen. An entry box will open, allowing you to enter new rHosp details. Please create each rHosp only once.

You may enter multiple emails, phone numbers, fax numbers, and addresses by using the 3-dot menu next to each field. However, only one email can be assigned to log in to the Shareville Portal and receive check in/out notifications.

Clicking “+ Add rVet” allows you to add each veterinarian in that practice to the rHosps profile. rVets email addresses will not be used to log in to the Shareville Portal and receive check in/out notifications.

Once saved, you can continue to add additional rVets.
