Purpose

All patient treatments in one place! The Treatments Overview Dashboard provides new visibility into your patient care demands, including treatment administration timing trends, treatments broken down by service and ward, late treatments by user, and a detailed view of all treatments given during a timeframe.

Questions the Dashboard Can Answer

  • Which months have had the highest and lowest demand for patient care and treatments during a selected timeframe?

  • Which of my staff members are completing the most treatments during a selected timeframe?

  • On average, what percentage of treatments per user are late during a selected timeframe

  • When are the busiest days and times of day for patient treatments?

  • On average, what is the spread of patients treated and treatments given across my services and wards?

  • How many and which patients received a particular drug as a treatment over the last year?

  • Details on a particular staff member, like which patients did they complete treatments for during a selected timeframe?

    • This can be especially helpful for technician training purposes/evidence for certification etc.

  • When were certain treatments administered for patients in a particular ward or service?

  • Number of treatments and for which patients have been completed by a practice user

FAQs

  1. The Treatments Overview Dashboard includes Treatments added from the Tx Sheet and direct-to-invoice items.

  2. Treatments from the Tx sheet will show the provider that was associated with the treatment on the Tx sheet – if you edit the provider on the invoice, the change will not be reflected on the dashboard.

  3. If you edit the provider on a treatment that was added directly to the invoice, the change will be reflected on the dashboard.

  4. Treatment Count by User is who is actually completing treatments, i.e. clicking the button.

  5. Filtering Help:

    • Marked_at: The timestamp when a treatment was marked on the treatment sheet or invoice.

    • Check_In: This date range controls the range of treatment data shown by when a patient was checked in. Note that the Check_in and Marked_at dates should reasonably overlap.

      • Example: Check_in is Sept 1, 2024, to Sept 5, 2024, Marked_at is Sept 1, 2024, to Sept 19th, 2024, would filter the dashboard to patients checked in during the selected timeframe, and all treatments completed for those patients between the Marked_at timeframe.

    • Group_by: The Group_by determines how the data will be grouped together over the entire time frame selected – i.e. daily counts, weekly counts, monthly counts, etc

      • In general if you’re looking at a very large timeframe (i.e. a year) you would want to use something like month whereas if you are looking at a smaller time frame (i.e. last 30 days) you could use day/week.

    • Exclude User: By default, this dashboard excludes the user “Default default,” which the system uses with automatically applied fees. If there is anyone else from the dashboard that needs to be excluded, they can additionally be selected here.
