You can schedule and complete imaging treatments like any other treatment in Instinct. Asteris specific treatments display a diagnostics icon on both the Treatment Order form and on the Treatment Sheet as shown below. While the diagnostics icon will not display if ordered as a One-Off, you can still complete One-Offs for Asteris treatments.
🚨 Imaging Icon not displaying when ordering in the Treatment Order form? If the Imaging Icon is not appearing next to the product name in the Treatment Order form, the product has not been mapped to the Asteris Integration. Please reach out to [email protected] to have the product mapped! Don’t forget to include the product PIMS ID, Product Label, and the Modality the product should be linked to.
Once the treatment is completed, the Order History screen will display a View Results button. Selecting this button opens the order form within the chart document panel to the right.
Or, you can navigate to the order form from the Chart screen.
Once an imaging study has been submitted as Pending, this will trigger the scheduling of the service in Asteris’ Keystone Omni portal.
You will then query the Asteris schedule to pull the patient information into the modality chosen.
Instinct’s Chart Document Status will display either Pending, To Review, Complete, or To Share.
📓 Please Note: Once an Asteris treatment has been marked ‘Completed’, any changes or updates made in Instinct will not be reflected in Asteris. You will have to go into the Asteris portal to cancel any studies or reports.
