Before you begin
Asteris credentials must be entered in Instinct (Admin → Practice → Integrations) and the integration must be Activated before mapping can be done
You must have the admin_products permission in Instinct EMR to map a product.
Note: Mapping is supported for all product class types except vital signs. |
How to map a product to Asteris
Go to Admin → Products.
Search for the product you want to map.
Click the product name to open the product modal.
Under Integrations, open the Integration Source drop-down and select Asteris.
Open the Integration Product drop-down and select the appropriate Asteris modality (for example, US for ultrasound).
Click Save.
Once mapped, the diagnostics icon will appear next to the product name on the Treatment Sheet and Order History.
How to unmap a product from Asteris
Go to Admin → Products and open the product modal.
Click the X to the right of the mapped integration.
Click Save.
Select the X in the Integrations section of any product to unmap the product from the integration.
Frequently asked questions
Which modality should I select? Select the modality that matches the imaging type—for example, US for ultrasound, or CR for computed radiography.
What if I don't see the diagnostics icon after mapping? Confirm the product was saved after mapping. If the icon still does not appear, contact Instinct support.
Can I map more than one product at a time? Each product must be mapped individually through its product modal.
