Enabling the Assistant features
The permission admin_intelligence must be enabled for staff to manage/enable Assistant and its features.
A practice admin must enable Assistant in Admin → Practice → Intelligence and accept the Terms of Service.
Each Assistant feature has its own toggle. You can enable Chart Summarizer, Visit Summarizer, or Plumb’s Assistant on an individual basis in Admin → Practice → Intelligence.
Note: The Terms of Service can be reviewed at any time at the top of the Intelligence settings in Admin.

Patient Summary — Generate a concise summary of a patient's chart history—including conditions, visits, medications, and reminders
Visit Summary — Generate a concise summary of a visit, including the reason for the visit, treatments, medications administered, and discharge status.
To select a specific visit, choose from the Visit drop-down located at the bottom of the chat window.
You can ask follow-up questions directly in the chat window.
Sources
For Chart and Visit summaries, we recommend cross-checking information against the patient record. Sources for Chart and Visit summaries can be found at the bottom of responses. Clicking on a source will lead you to the corresponding visit or to the patient’s Chart.
