For some of our ITP-connected practices, such as IDEXX Cornerstone practices, the unit price, dispensing fee, and minimum price are updated in Instinct automatically between 12 a.m. and 2 am each night.
For ITP-unconnected practices or practices with software that don’t provide pricing updates, you can do this in Instinct on your end in Admin → Inventory → Products. To update the price of a single product, follow these steps:
Navigate to the Admin tab in Instinct.
Open the Products section.
Search for the specific product you want to update and select it.
In the product information panel, locate the Price field and edit it to reflect the new price.
Click Save to apply the changes.
Note:
Instinct’s flagging algorithm ignores price differences of +/- $30 to give you a time buffer to update pricing in Instinct.
