ScribbleVet provides support for exporting notes into Instinct via the ScribbleVet Chrome Extension. Reach out to ScribbleVet to help get the program set up and configured.
Currently, ScribblVet is only available within the Chrome browser with the Scribble Chrome Extension. This allows you to export notes made in your ScribbleVet template into Instinct.
Downloading the ScribbleVet Browser Companion
Set up the ScribbleVet Browser Companion
Install the ScribbleVet Browser Companion (available on Chrome).
Click the puzzle piece [1] in the top right corner of your browser and ‘Pin’ [2] the ScribbleVet Browser Companion to your extension bar.
Log in to ScribbleVet on your browser.
Open the Browser Companion by clicking on the Potato icon in the extension bar [3]
The Browser Companion should automatically be logged into your ScribbleVet account. If this is not the case, please close the extension and re-open it after logging into ScribbleVet.
Linking Providers & Syncing Appointments
To link your providers and sync your appointments from Instinct to ScribbleVet, follow these steps:
Open the ScribbleVet Browser Companion alongside Instinct (any page should work)
Step 1: Click the “Instinct” button within the Browser Companion.
Step 2: Link “providers” in Scribble to the corresponding providers in Instinct.
🗒️Note: This is done only once and ScribbleVet provides an auto-linking button that tries to match the provider by name. You also have the option to search for the provider or unlink if needed.
Step 3: Sync to pull appointments for provider(s) (“Sync” button should be purple).
Setting up Charts to Transfer to Instinct from ScribbleVet:
Navigate to a patient’s chart within Instinct.
Open the equivalent Scribbled note in the ScribbleVet Browser Companion.
Click on “Link to section” and map each section within ScribbleVet to the section in your record template to which you’d like it copied.
Your mapping preferences will be saved for subsequent notes.
Click “Add all” to copy your ScribbleVet note into Instinct
Any section left as “Link to section” will not be copied over.
Transcribing your Charts:
After the Record Review summary is generated:
Navigate to the patient in Instinct
Switch from the Appointments to the Patients tab in the ScribbleVet Browser Companion
Select the matching Patient
Click “Add All” to copy information to Instinct
