CoVet provides support for exporting notes into Instinct via the CoVet Google Chrome Extension. Reach out to CoVet to help in getting the program set up and configured.
Currently, CoVet is only available within the Chrome browser with the Chrome Extension. This allows you to export notes made in your CoVet template to Instinct.
Once the CoVet Google Chrome Extension is downloaded, access the gear icon in the upper right-hand corner, select Connections, and ensure that Instinct is toggled on and green.
Setting up Charts to Transfer to Instinct from CoVet:
Within the CoVet Google Chrome Extension, select the gear in the upper right-hand corner and then select Templates.
Here you can search for templates that have been created or are available automatically.
Sign in to Instinct and select a patient and chart. In the CoVet Google Chrome Extension, select each section within CoVet to the appropriate section in your record template you’d like it to be copied to. Once complete, select Save.
🗒️Note: Your mapping preferences will be saved for subsequent notes.
Transcribing your Charts:
After your chart has been marked as “Ready to Export,” select the case within the CoVet Google Chrome Extension.
Next, select the chart icon and your sections will populate within the corresponding Instinct chart sections.
