Instinct EMR is integrated with Clinisys™ Orchard® to support in-house diagnostic lab ordering. When a mapped lab order is completed in Instinct, the system automatically sends the order to Clinisys™ Orchard® and creates a Chart document to track the result.
How the integration works
When a mapped Clinisys™ Orchard® lab order is completed on the Treatment Sheet, in Ax Mode, or via One-Off, the following happens automatically:
A new Chart document is created with a status of Pending.
Once results are available from Clinisys™ Orchard®, the Chart document status updates to To Review.
Results can be viewed by clicking View Results on the Chart document.
Tip: Use the Diagnostics Dashboard to see all pending and recently received Clinisys™ Orchard® diagnostics for patients at your practice at a glance.
