In Instinct EMR, you can void a submitted Clinisys™ Orchard® lab request from the Treatment Sheet or the patient's chart side panel. Voiding in Instinct does not automatically cancel the requisition in Clinisys™ Orchard®—that step requires a separate action.
Void a lab request
Open the 3-dot menu on the lab order in the Treatment Sheet, or open the Chart document in the patient's chart side panel.
Select Void.
Contact Clinisys™ Orchard® directly to cancel the corresponding requisition.
Update the patient's Treatment Sheet and invoice to reflect the canceled order.
Warning: Voiding in Instinct does not cancel the requisition in Clinisys™ Orchard®. You must contact Clinisys™ Orchard® separately to cancel the lab order on their end.
Undo a void
If a void was applied in error, you can undo it from the same location:
Open the 3-dot menu on the voided order, or open the Chart document in the side panel.
Select Undo Void.
