How do I unenroll a product?
To unenroll a product, please contact our support team at [email protected] to request this action. Be sure to provide the product’s name and PIMS ID.
How do I add a product to Stockroom?
Adding a product in Instinct EMR will automatically add the product to Instinct Stockroom! Once the product is in Stockroom, enrolling the product will allow you to track the product usage under Local Inventory.
Why can I not group my enrolled products?
To create product groups in Instinct Stockroom, you will need to group the products together before they are enrolled. Keep in mind that once a group is created, you will not be able to edit it at this time. Please contact our support team at [email protected] for assistance with editing a group.
Can a non-billable product be an inventory item?
Yes, non-billable products can be enrolled in Stockroom! To track the buying cost of the product, you will need to edit the product in Admin>Catalog by clicking on the 3-dot menu next to the product to open the editing form.
How do I add locations to Stockroom?
To add inventory locations in Stockroom, navigate to Locations within the Admin section. Click on you hospital name to open up the menu of current locations. To add additional locations, click the ➕ next to Inventory Locations.
If I buy a product by the bottle and sell it by the tablet, how does Stockroom account for this?
When editing a product in the Admin section, you have the ability to convert the buying cost measurement to a selling unit cost measurement.
Can the Markup be entered as a dollar amount?
At this time, the Markup must be entered as a percent.
Is there a reorder point feature within Stockroom?
This feature is not currently available.
I’m trying to add a billable product to my Product Bundle in Instinct EMR. Why is it not working?
Only non-billable products can be added to a Product Bundle. If you are trying to bundle products that are similar to track inventory counts, utilizing Product Groups in Stockroom would be more appropriate. For example, if you have 3 products of Cerenia 24mg such as an in-house option and Rx option, it would be more appropriate to create a Product Group to track the inventory count for Cerenia 24mg.
Can I add more than 5 non-billable products to a Product Bundle?
Currently, 5 non-billable products is the maximum amount that can be added. Our team is working on increasing this maximum!
