Stockroom Analytics: Inventory Valuation

Inventory Valuation tracks the value of a Practice’s Inventory.

🎓 Inventory Value = The product’s QOH converted to its buying unit multiplied by its buying cost. (QOH/Unit Ratio)*Buying Cost.

Graphs and Charts can be filtered to show:

  • Location

  • Date (Summary):

    • Today

    • Yesterday

    • Last week

    • Last 7 days

    • Last 30 days

    • Last month

    • Last 3 months

    • Last 12 months

    • Specific dates

    • Relative dates

      • Current day, week, month, quarter or year

      • Past minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, quarters or year

      • Next minutes, hours, days, weeks, months, quarters or years

    • Exclude

      • Days of the week

      • Months of the year

      • Quarters of the year

      • Hours of the day

  • Start Date (Details)

  • End Date (Details)

  • Inventory Tags (Details)

  • Product

  • Priority

There are two main screens within Inventory Valuation; Summary and Details.

Summary

The Summary screen displays the following graphs and charts:

  • Total Inventory Value: The total inventory value across all of a Practice’s locations.

  • Inventory Value by Inventory Tag

  • Inventory Value by Priority: The total inventory value for each product priority. A priority’s inventory value is summed across all selected locations.

  • Current Inventory Value by Priority: The total inventory value split by product priority. Priority value is summed across all selected locations. This is the inventory value at the current time and will not be affected by date filters.

  • Inventory Value by Location

  • Current Inventory Value by Location: The total inventory value split by location. This only displays inventory value at the current time and will not be affected by date filters.

Hovering over any portion of the graphs will display a tool tip which provides a more detailed breakdown and what each part represents, or it will display the specific value on the graph, including the date.

Each of the graphs also contain a 3-dot menu in the top right corner which will allow you to download the results in .csv, .xlsx, .json, or .png file formats.

Details

The Details screen displays the following:

  • Inventory List

  • Inventory Value Share

  • Product Inventory Value

Each column in the Inventory List has a carrot symbol (🔼) that you can use to sort the column in ascending or descending order. In the lower right hand corner, you can advance the page and see more rows of products.

Using the 3-dot menu in the upper right corner of any of the graphs, charts, or Inventory List will allow you to download results in .csv, .xlsx, .json, or .png file format.

Hovering over any portion of a graph or chart will produce a tool tip that will either further break the chart down and show what each portion represents or will display the specific value on the graph including the date.
