When the Vetcove integration is connected, Stockroom and Vetcove automatically share inventory levels and purchase orders. This article explains what syncs, how often, and how to start a sync manually.
Beta Phase: This integration is currently in Beta, which means it’s still being tested and improved. Some functionality may change. If you notice any issues, please contact Support. |
What syncs from Stockroom → Vetcove
For each product enrolled in Stockroom, these values sync to Vetcove:
Quantity on hand
Min quantity
Max quantity
Only enrolled products sync, not your entire product list. Vetcove uses these values to build your Critical Shortages list.
What syncs from Vetcove → Stockroom
When you place an order in Vetcove, Stockroom receives:
Purchase orders: One purchase order for each supplier included in your Vetcove order.
Buying cost: If the cost in the Vetcove order differs from the cost saved in Stockroom, you are prompted to update it when you receive the order.
Note: Product details, min and max values, and supplier information do not sync from Vetcove to Stockroom. Set these up in Stockroom. |
Sync inventory manually
Inventory syncs automatically every 2 hours. To sync right away, such as after receiving an order, click Sync Inventory at the top of your local inventory.
Frequently asked questions
Do purchase orders created in Stockroom sync to Vetcove?
No. Purchase orders must start in Vetcove to sync with this integration.
What happens if the product size in Vetcove differs from Stockroom?
Stockroom uses the Vetcove details on the purchase order. For example, if Stockroom lists a product as 100 tablets per bottle and you order a 1,000-tablet bottle in Vetcove, the purchase order displays the 1,000-tablet bottle.
Why doesn't a product I ordered appear on the purchase order?
Products ordered in Vetcove that are not in Stockroom do not appear on the purchase order.
